Walland is a fostering and caring community centered school for all students.
Walland is a community school that was previously a K-12 school in the 1920s-1940s then a high school from the 1950s-1976. Beginning in 1976 Walland was a 4-8 grade middle school until 2001 when it transitioned to an elementary school. In 2012 Walland was recognized as a Tennessee Reward School for student growth and was identified as a Level 5 school which is the top rating a school can received from the state. Walland has maintained its Level 5 status each years since 2012.
