From the School
We have exceptional academics
incredible athletics and a growing arts program. We use E.D. Hirsch's K-8 Core Knowledge sequential learning curriculum. During the Grammar stage (K-5) we use the students' natural ability to process mass amounts of information. In our Logic School (6-8) we use the early adolescence desire to answer the question "why" and explain information in detail. Lastly in Rhetoric School (9-12) we develop the late adolescence desire to argue and allow the students to develop their ideas and force them to defend their opinions. Appalachian State University
