From the School

OLG is a diverse school rooted in prayer and Gospel values.

Serving Greenwood and the surrounding areas Our Lady of the Greenwood School is a Catholic school that is proactive in developing a Christian educational environment that models the teachings of Christ. We pray as a whole school each morning. Every class prays the Angelus at noon in their classes. We pray at the end of our school day. On Wednesdays and Fridays grades K - 8 pray together at mass in our church. Using summative and formative data OLG School challenges each student’s academic potential. We have three reading interventionists as well as a math interventionist to assist students in their foundational learning. Our school encourages creativity. We offer art music technology and PE classes. Middle school students have electives in which they can select choir hand bells robotics drama and so much more. From Kindergarten to 8th grade students have 1:1 Chromebook access. Pre-schoolers use tablets in small groups. Pre-School through Grade 3 classrooms use new SmartBoards. Grades 4 through 8 use large flat screen TVS to cast lessons. Our student body comes from 17 different zip-codes. Fourteen different languages are represented at our school. We offer Morning Care beginning at 6:45am. After-School care begins at 3:00pm and lasts until 6:00pm. Because of Indiana's School Choice program tuition and fees are affordable. Private education is available right here in Greenwood.
