St Scholastica Elementary School

Private school 233 Students Grades K-8

From the School

We nurture a love of learning in children from kindergarten through grade 8.

Saint Scholastica School provides an academic curriculum which allows students to reach their fullest potential. Lessons are differentiated with large and small group instruction. Students are challenged using problem based learning experiences which allow for multiple solutions. This higher level thinking provides problem solving skills which are necessary for life. Faculty are invested in student success and are facilitators of the student learning experience. Our class size allows for a balance of group learning as well as individual attention. At the same time our day is infused with our Christian faith. Gospel values are at the core of all we do as we prepare our students to be members of a global community who evangelize their faith and strive toward social justice for all. We are models of our faith in all we say and do for and with our students each day. As a school we recognize others who are an example of these values with the "Christian Conduct" award each term. We complement our academics with a variety of athletic teams and extracurricular activities that enable each child to discover and develop their talents skills and interests.
