Founded in 1973 Amelia Island Montessori School (AIMS) is an independent school in Fernandina Beach Florida offering a private education to students (aged 18 months through 8th grade) true to the original Maria Montessori philosophy. AIMS is the only school in Nassau County to earn accreditation from both the American Montessori Society (AMS) and the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS).
