From the School

McPherson has a focus on math

science engineering and technology. McPherson Magnet is the only comprehensive K-8 school in the district. Students enter McPherson through a lottery process open to all students living in the OUSD boundaries. Our magnet focus provides the key signature that sets the school apart from the norm. Science is taught through project-based learning and provides the theme for our curriculum integration. Additionally we have implemented a STEM curriculum through Project Lead the Way (K-8th grade).
