From the School

Building the foundations of extraordinary lives.

​​Hillbrook is a junior kindergarten-8th grade school (and starting in Fall 2023 JK - 12th grade!) located in Los Gatos CA and downtown San Jose CA. Since our founding in 1935 Hillbrook has provided an extraordinary educational experience where students develop a true love of learning and prepare for a future we cannot yet imagine. Through Hillbrook's engaging challenging and dynamic academic programs students develop the knowledge skills and confidence to achieve their highest potential in school and in life. In our Lower and Middle School every part of our 14-acre campus is alive with activity: two bridges connect the Lower & Middle School a creek weaves through campus (you'll often find our science students there) and towering trees provide a refuge for class discussions outdoors. Our Upper School campuses brings our students to downtown San Jose where learning expands as a connected part of a growing thriving downtown community. The city is our classroom as students engage with the city as part of their extended learning.
