From the School

Benicia High School is a 2017 Gold Ribbon School and Exemplary Arts Program.


Opened in 1892 Benicia High School is the only comprehensive high school in Benicia and was one of the first high schools in the state of California. In 2019 Benicia High received the maximum 6-year accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). In 2018 Benicia High School received the 2018 Civic Learning Award from the California Department of Education.
